Food

We produce reliable and intelligent packaging solutions for the food industry. We specialize in lids and closures with special functions, such as easy-open solutions, dosing lids and systems, bayonet closures, and reliable barrier solutions developed in-house in close cooperation with our customers. In addition to coffee capsule systems, we also produce dosing lids for pouches used in beverage vending machines. Dosing lids/spouts

Whether with sealing or with a predetermined breaking point, the dosing closure for pouches, co-developed by Kunststoff Schwanden AG, ensures complete emptying of the concentrate/powder to deliver maximum pleasure from each beverage prepared.

Water distribution discs

The distribution disc in the coffee capsule ensures that the coffee powder is evenly and completely moistened with the hot water (homogeneous water distribution in the capsule).

Biodegradable packaging solutions

The use of biodegradable plastics allows us to produce sustainable solutions that still guarantee a good barrier function.

Kunststoff Schwanden AG has developed a security closure for sealing samples that can only be opened by visibly destroying the seal once closed. The cup can be adapted to different security levels and can even be equipped with electronic components (e.g. trackers).
